The Nav Q3 2022 — That's a Wrap on Q3!

It's Good to be Back!

Welcome to the Q3 2022 edition of our quarterly newsletter! As we head into the last quarter of this year, we wanted to take a quick look at all that has happened in the third quarter here at Altair in this edition of The Nav, as well as what we can expect moving into the remainder of the year.

In short, it's no secret that relocation and traveling, in general, is back full steam ahead in a big way! From office visits around the world to traveling for conferences near and far, it's great to see our team, colleagues and the relocation industry as a whole back in action and in person again.

London Calling

At the end of Q3, my colleague, Kathryn Cassidy, and I even had the pleasure of visiting both our Singapore and London offices as part of a global trip to see all of our current and new team members at our growing locations over in APAC and EMEA (just look at that huge group showcasing our London team!).

First, we headed out to London, where we conducted several on-site department meetings, as well as a London Town Hall. During our time there, we also broadcast our internal monthly global communication, The Buzz, live from EMEA, where our team members from all over the world got to have a chat with London's fearless leader, Barry Potter, along with e-meeting several new faces in the UK office and getting to know our team from across the pond better.

It was fascinating to watch this team's momentum and engagement in-person. It's no doubt that Altair's EMEA team should be proud of what they have accomplished, but getting to take part in the laughs, bonding and seeing how London truly exemplifies Altair's values to achieve new heights was something else entirely.

Hello, Singapore!

Later, we traveled to Singapore, where we were fortunate to get together with our APAC team members just in time to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of this office location, led by the one-and-only Benny Tan (speaking of Benny Tan, be sure to catch both him and Barry Potter at this year's upcoming Worldwide ERC Global Workforce Symposium).

While in Singapore, we broadcast another edition of The Buzz, live from APAC, as part of the festivities, and of course, throughout our visit, there was no shortage of beautiful sights, great food (so much great food) and lots of laughs with our Singapore team members.

The energy and enthusiasm at both our London and Singapore offices were palpable. Our team members are happy to be taking on more and more relocations as restrictions lift across the globe, and there was a united sense of everyone genuinely loving what they do here at Altair.

In this issue of The Nav, you'll find helpful information on upcoming travel, housing and business challenges to expect due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and a detailed account on relocation impacts of institutional buying in the U.S. We'll also cover the upcoming Worldwide ERC Global Workforce Symposium and where you can find Altair's own thought leaders throughout the conference. Finally, with all the traveling happening in the mobility workforce, we're sharing a snapshot of some of the events we've attended in Q3, as well as where you can expect to see us throughout the rest of the year.

This has been a great, redemptive year for the mobility industry, and our team is keeping up this momentum going into 2023. Here's to the last quarter of 2022—may we all finish the year strong!
