Chads Intro Q4 22 Web ImageIn what seems like the blink of an eye, here we are at the end of 2022. It's been an incredible year full of growth and innovation here at Altair Global, as well as opportunities for reconnecting face-to-face after a couple of virtual and hybrid years in the industry, such as this year's Worldwide ERC Global Workforce Symposium (GWS) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the Spirit of Coopetition

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the various events and showcases at WERC in Las Vegas. I left incredibly comforted by the fact that this industry is thriving and redefining itself to support different work models.  For the first time, I felt a true spirit of coopetition, where all members of WERC were there to support each other, regardless of which banner, business card or booth we represented.  Being together in Las Vegas reminded me of the calling and passion we all have for this industry, to serve and help others realize their greatest potential.

You can read more about our involvement at this year's WERC GWS in this issue of The Nav. We're already putting our thinking caps on and gearing up for next year in Boston!

A Year to Look Back On

While we saw more of our industry out and about at these local, regional, national and global conferences, it's no secret that 2022 wasn't a complete cakewalk for those in global mobility.

Despite global economic shocks, geopolitical conflicts, war, a lingering pandemic and continued supply chain snarls, 2022 was a year of resilience, growth and at times, just plain grit. I’m truly humbled and amazed at the work of our team members each and every day, and so delighted to welcome a new group of professionals to our team throughout the year. In total, we welcomed 161 new hires in 2022, growing Altair to more than 630 team members.

And the extra sets of hands were necessary, as our team collectively completed 117,403 X-checks on customer experience, with an average of 322 X-checks per day!

In This Issue of The Nav

In The Nav Q4 2022 edition, we're talking about timely and hard-hitting topics, such as how the work-from-anywhere trend affects relocation programs, whether or not you should be considering LGBTQIA+ language within your mobility policies and more.

Final Thoughts on 2022

As this year comes to a conclusion, I want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, support and passion for this industry. It's because of each and every one of you in this industry that we're able to continue what we love to do, which is providing a successful relocation experience for employees across the globe.

We look forward to what 2023 holds for us here at Altair Global, and what new milestones we can accomplish together. Until then, have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!
