We’re excited to move into the new year and finish this first quarter in strong, Altair fashion. Our leadership and business development teams recently met in person for the first time in more than two years, and the energy and excitement from this group of team members were palpable. As we strategized what this year would look like, it was a wonderful feeling to truly sense that we are moving onward and upward. And, we are already accomplishing great things in 2022.

In this issue, we are highlighting some amazing achievements including the results of our 2021 Client Experience Survey and the introduction of a new diversity-focused internship program that we are participating in.

Finally, I would be remiss to introduce this publication without acknowledging the strife and unrest in the world right now. As we have thankfully moved away from the COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately, we have now moved into a time of war in Ukraine. Altair is not content to just watch from the sidelines as people in our world are hurting. We have been actively engaged with our clients assisting their employees who are fleeing from both Russia and Ukraine. The stories of Altair team members who have worked late nights and over weekends to assist more than 300 evacuating employees; one who supplied a personal credit card to pay for temporary housing when it looked like there was no other solution; and one who is collecting donations and is personally traveling to the border with medical supplies and food – all of their own volition – are simply inspiring. When things in the world are at their worst, you always see people around you at their best. This is the case with our team members at Altair, and I have to say how proud I am to lead such an amazing team of people.

To our clients, we want to assure you that Altair is here for you and will work hard to support your needs in the best way we can. Of course, at this time, there are relocation services that are just not possible due to the wartime conditions; however, Altair is always searching for innovative solutions to the challenges our clients face and will continue to do so even through this uncertainty.
